And we need the nurses, doctors and health care professionals who make that happen twenty four-seven! Careers in healthcare are in high demand, and what better way to get a start on a very fulfilling job! Not to mention, the pay is good too!

Nursing

The CHS/PCC Nursing program gets you ready to enter many possible career fields in Allied Health. You'll complete the prerequisite courses needed to enter the RN degree program. Our RN program is certified by the Florida Board of Nursing and is accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. Translation - top notch!

Health Information Management/Coding Specialist

- As a Coder, you’re a vital part of the health care team. You’ll need the skills to assess the proper health care documentation of patients and determine the correct classification code assignments and sequencing, following the Coding Clinic Guidelines. Translation- it’s the paper trail.

Radiologic Technology

If you’re into pictures and inside images, then “RadTech” (Radiologic Technology) is for you. You’ll take courses in general education and prerequisites for the RadTech program. A “RadTech” is a licensed professional who is primarily responsible for applying ionizing radiation to demonstrate portions of the human anatomy on various imaging modalities. Translation- take the x-ray!

Occupational Therapy Assistant

The OTA Program trains and qualifies graduates to work in the occupational therapy career field. You’ll learn about a vital heEMTalth care service whose practitioners use purposeful activity as a means of preventing, reducing or overcoming physical, social and emotional disabilities in people of all ages. Translation- learning with a purpose!

Physical Therapy Assistant

 The PTA program prepares students for careers in hands-on, direct patient care under the guidance of Licensed Physical Therapists. Translation- making it all move! PTAs work in clinical settings, home health, and specialized living facilities, and can work with a variety of patients of all ages with a variety of needs; pediatric, geriatric, orthopedic, sports medicine, and the list goes on.-

Emergency Medical Technology

EMTs are members of the Emergency Medical Services team, delivering out-of-hospital emergency care under the direction of an emergency physician. In here, you‘ll prep for a career as an EMT!
